I knew this movie would be a light-hearted movie, but I didn't expect it to be so funny! I had seen so many advertisements for the movie that I didn't expect there to be much left, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is laugh-out-loud funny at times. It is also sensitive with wonderful performances by all actors. I especially liked the character of the soon to be son-in-law. He is hysterical. This was a very feel good movie, and sometimes we all need that.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
