Simply the best and scariest horror movie i have ever seen. So realistic and terrifying. I was shaking when i left and could not sleep that night. It was nice to see a scary movie that dd not rely on gore or nudity. There was NONE of that. Just creepy things that will send chills through your entire body.
See it as soon as you can!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

decent slasher film

This movie is a very average slasher film. Kinda predictable, gory, and slightly pointless. BUT the fact that the ENTIRE movie is in 3D makes it good enough to see. The 3D is very well done and makes the movie scarier. The film IS scary but not THAT scary! Especially to someone who has seen a LOT of horror movies. It makes you jump and squirm in your seat but doesnt make you sweat. And the fear you feel during the movie doesnt stick with you afterwards such as "The Strangers". Overall if you like horror movies you should see it, but ONLY if you see it in 3D. Otherwise wait for the DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie is spectacular! It stays SOOO close to the book!! If you havent read the book you may find it a bit harder to follow. But for those of you have read the book, i dont think you'll be dissapointed!! The cast was PERFECT!!!!!! They couldnt of found a better one! The only thing that was slightly dissapointing was the meadow scene. It wasnt very long, and all the dialogue takes place OUTSIDE of the meadow! Where in the book it takes place IN the meadow. But Edwards sparkle effect was incredible!!! Overall a definite must see!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I can not say it enough, you HAVE to see this movie! The songs, sets, and dances, are bigger and better than ever! Thanks to a much bigger budget than the first 2 movies. The performances are all exeptional. But the true gem here is the casts energy and fun that is portrayed in every scene. If you dont like HSM you may not enjoy this movie as much as i did. If you do like the series than you will no doubt be very immpressed and fall in love with this movie! It blows the first 2 out of the water! It is a perfect movie to see with the whole family! The kids with be in awe with some of the song/dance numbers, while the adults will be intrigued by the perfomances and struggles these characters face.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A whole lot of fun!

Mamma mia! is the most fun you can possibly have at the movies! Its full of energy from start to finish, and will keep you smiling the entire time. The songs are catchy (and beware they WILL get stuck in your head), the dancing is excellent, the sets are beautiful, and the perfomances are all respectable. Mamma mia! is not as good as last summers big budget musical "Hairspray", but it is definitely just as, (if not more) fun! This is a movie that all ages can and will enjoy. And for those of you with young children there is only brief sexual material. So take the whole family and have FUN!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

strangers is "strange" indeed

I have seen about 90 percent of all horror movies made between now and 2000, and "The Strangers" is definitley one of the better ones. It doesnt take very long before a stranger knocks on their door asking for someone they do not know. Soon after they send her away she returns. Only this time she is not alone. Two more strangers join her and now they are all wearing masks. And mabye the most frightening masks i've ever seen. They quickly begin knocking on the doors and windows. Kind of like playing with their pray before they strike. They massively succeed in terrorfiying James "Scott Speedman" and Kathrine "Liv Tyler" as well as the audience. One of the reasons the "Strangers" is so scary is because it is so simple. When "Kathrine" finally asks the pivotal question in all horror movies "why are you doing this to us?" They dont complicate things with a bad back story like most horror movies do. The answer the strangers give is simple, "because you were home." So it just makes it all scarier because everything that happened is so random, it could have happen to anyone. And mabye if they didnt answer the door at 4 a.m. the strangers would have left and nothing would of happened. Also Kathrine and James are mabye the best horror movie characters ever. They react the way any normal person would. They scream, grab a weapon, try to call for help, and hide! There is very little gore, and a lot of suspense. I highly recommend "The Strangers" to anyone who enjoys being scared.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Decent Family Fun

Okay, this movie is not hilarious in anyway. It is mildly funny and very clean. I think anyone over the age of ten will find this movie to be to cheesy to laugh at or enjoy. I went with my eleven year old brother and he wanted to leave after the first ten minutes. Although younger kids should enjoy it and parents will like how clean this movie is.
The parts with Donny Osmond's character and his daughter were very funny, but those were really the only "laugh out loud moments" for me.
The boy who plays the younger brother is supposed to be some kind of boy genius, but i think he has no relevance to the story and was a waste of camera time. Mabye if they took him out and gave Donny Osmond's character and his daughter more screen time i would have liked this movie better. Raven and Martin Lawremce did a fine job, but to me it felt like they were ready to do more with the movie. If only the script would allow it.
I also believe that this movie would've worked better as a pg-13 or even a pg movie, with a little bit more of an edge, for a movie about college.
So overall a good movie for kids under ten, but not so much anyone else.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Way better than the first!

First off DO NOT listen to the people who say this was not as good as the first! This movie and the first one are about DANCING! This movie has Way more dancing than the first one and a better storyline. The dancing is sick! all the dancers were phenomenal! some of the dance scenes were just crazy! The acting is pretty good, and as i said, dancing was awsome! Also there was a lot of funny moments in this movie. So it has the drama, comedy, and amazing dancing! everything a good dancing film should have! And for those of you who may be worried about your younger children seeing this movie, you really have nothing to worry about. Its very safe for a pg-13 rating. No foul language, just a little bit of violence, and a hint of sensuality.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Hannah Rocks!!

This movie was so well done! Going from concert to backstage and back again. The 3D was perfect it felt like you were actually there, and she was right in front of you! Even the sound was good, my ears feel just like they do when you leave a concert. This is perfect for those of you (like me) who could not get tickets to the concert, unless you sold a kidney!! This way is affordable and definatley the next best thing to actually being there! I would strongly recomend it to anyone who is a fan of Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus........but Jonas Brothers fans beware, in the concert they have an entire set list of songs, but in the film only sing two.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A MUST SEE!

First off if you dont already know this is a VERY bloody musical. But dont let that scare you off. The blood is not portrayed as gross, but comical. It is not at all the color of blood and it squirts like a squirt gun! (and it is okay to laughat those moments). Tim Burton has gone over the top of his last movies with this. It is by far his best film. The sets are beautifully dark as are the perfomances. At first your not quite sure if you feel sorry for "Sweeney" and "Mrs. Lovette" or if their just completley deranged, but that becomes very clear in the end. The perfomances are exellent as are the songs. Overall a very good MUST see movie, and by far one of the best of 2007.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
