You can't go wrong with Gus Van Sant, Sean Penn, Diego Luna, Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch... need I go on? Every minute of this film I felt entrenched in the struggle for gay rights and inspired by the perseverance that I was witnessing. Pay close attention to the score by Danny Elfman as well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
