This is at best a mediocre movie. It repeats every cliche in the genre, even down to an exact repetition of the female "moral" from Bush Cassidy & The Sundance Kid: "I don't want to watch you die." After 5 minutes, I knew I did not want to watch this movie, either. Lavish sets, the usual jumpy editing and cinematography, expensive historical recreations of Depression-era Chicago, and two A-list actors telephoning in their parts. If you like to look at Johnny Depp for a long time, it could be ok.
