A contrived story with a closer relation to the Wizard of Oz than with the original Alice stories. When the "bad witch" is eventually defeated and her minions turn against her, you practically expect the White Queen to tell Alice to click her heels together to return home.
Meanwhile, the Mad Hatter plays the Scare Crow: "But you'll miss me the most, right?"

Repeatedly and randomly asking "why a raven is like a writing desk" does not make it authentic, and having the Hatter and the Tweedles inexpicably become swordsmen in the big battle is absurd.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
