More gory than scary

The movie dragged a bit. Though I sat at my seat anticipating Michael Myers' appearance on screen, I spent a majority of the time trying to stay awake.
I expected it to be at the caliber as the first Halloween from Rob Zombie. I completely left disappointed expecting more fear than disgust.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
