The story was just OK but the overall 3D experience/special effects were out of this world! MUST BE SEEN in an IMAX theatre for the full viewing experience.
I may have enjoyed this more if I'd known in advance exactly what the primary topic was: impending death of a famous comedian from a blood cancer. This is the first time I've seen Adam Sandler doing a part-drama. Felt weird. Anyway, not awful but too long and slow at times.
Great cast. Fun story lines. Overall a great return to the light, romantic comedies of decades past that were just really cute. One improvement to the movie would have been more of the parts where they interview "real people," e.g. the two women on the bench, the water taxi driver etc. Those made the movie funnier and showed that the producers weren't taking themselves too seriously.
