Exciting and Fun

It's probably more enjoyable to those of us who grew up watching the series, because many of the laughs come from seeing these characters in their initial interactions with each other, but overall, it was a vastly entertaining and exciting movie. I would see it again in a heartbeat.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
