I, unlike my daughter, have not read any of the Twilight books, so the movie was better for me than it was for her. I enjoyed the relationship between Edward and Bella, as it seemed to be very sweet and loving. I did not care for the amount of makeup that they put on the vampires though. To me, it was not necessary. I was very upset at the way this movie ended, as I hate to be left hanging when watching something. However, I do know that there are more movies to come and I will go see them. I am also going to read all of the books as well. I enjoyed this movie very much and even someone of my age is enough of a romantic to fall in love with Edward. This will certainly be purchased for our home library and watched again and again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
