Let me start by saying I enjoyed the movie. It gives you a lot to think about. The acting was superb. The effects were fun to watch.
But man is it slow sometimes. So slow. And loud. So loud.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Entertaining, but slow

For much of the movie there is no dialog. Yet it is amazing how well a story can be told and followed without dialog. WALL*E moves slowly, particularly at first, but always maintains your interest. It is packed with messages - environmental, social and public health. These will be lost on young children, yet they seemed to remain engaged and enjoy WALL*E.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
