I was finally "Avatared" and I'm in awe!
From the beginning, the simple story grabbed me and the 3d visuals propelled me into a different world. I've always empathized with the plight of the Native Americans who were displaced from their beloved land when a supposed more civilized nation claimed themselves superior and entitled to a land that was not theirs and I believe Cameron does too because the script felt like a a hint at that. The world of Pandora is simply magical and as a spiritual person I really "got" all the references to Eyva, the Pandorian deity who is the connection between all things.
Imax 3d is definitely the way to go but sit about 2/3rd from the front for the best experience.
