Anyone who is a fan of the series will love the movie. The movie takes place approximately 4 years from where we left the girls at the series finale. The movie stays true to the show, but with the actresses aging and the ratings board scrutiny there is a little less explicit nudity in the movie. That really doesn't effect the plot lines though. The movie really follows the foundation of each character. Carrie's struggles with relationships and specifically her relationship with Mr. Big. Miranda's focus on career and family which often leads to her neglect of her relationship with Steve. Charlotte's search for the perfect fairy tale life, and Samantha's issues with monogamy. In the end, fans will be happy with the way we leave the girls and will find the conclusion quite satisfying. I loved the show, and I really loved the movie!
Made of Honor was an entertaining but entirely generic and predictable romantic comedy. The screenplay is full of cheesy and predictable lines and scenes. While mildly entertaining and filled with beautiful people it felt forced, the lines that were supposed to be funny weren't, and the chemistry between Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan was unfortunately missing. My advice, wait until it comes out on DVD, its not worth the $9 to see it in the theatre.
