A Christmas Carol Disappointed

I was very disappointed in the movie, A Christmas Carol" starring Jim Carrey. I felt the movie dragged and there was nothing that made the movie any different than you have seen a thousand times before. I thought there would be more animated gestures with the main character being Jim Carrey and that there may be some laughs. I sat stoned faced wondering if it was going to end. The 3D effects were marginal and showed up only during a couple of snow scenes. The IMAX basically means "louder". So my opinion is to wait for it to hit rental!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

My husband and I both enjoyed this film. We thought the film was entertaining, well acted and worth the price of admission even if it was predictable in the end we still were surprised at how fast the film seemed to play. We never lost interest. It was nice to Sandra Bullock back at work, love Ryan Reynolds and the surprise acting came from Betty White which kept you laughing throughout the movie. So it's a definite film to catch at the movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
