Very Well Done, But Not For All

To put it simply, the movie was awesome. But it's not your average live action comic book movie. As others have said, read the graphic novel before seeing the film.
My girlfriend and I see most movies together, and she enjoys comic book movies, but she doesn't read comics or graphic novels so I knew better than to bring her to this one.

Very Good Film

I would definitely recommend this film to any movie fan. All of the performances were well done and we loved the script. It's a pretty safe bet that Brad Pitt has another Oscar nomination in his future now. I admit it was long, but we didn't actually notice until we left the theater. Good stories will do that for you.

Nice and Entertaining

I really like this kind of movie anyway, but I can say most people would enjoy this one. The casting was very well done. I had a good idea of who was in the cast, but every performer fit their role perfectly.
The film was well directed which, as I learned long ago, is probably why the actors performances were so well done. I expect to see young Mr. Smith in many more films in the future.
As remakes go, this was a good one. I would not mind paying to see it again.

How He Got Those Cuts.

The Dark Knight is a great film. I highly recommend it for anyone. The parts of the movie featuring Bruce Wayne or Batman, for the most part weren't as good as Batman Begins though they were still entertaining.
The other major characters were very well done. Gary Oldman was, of course, great. From the first moment we first saw officer Gordon in the first film I knew he was perfectly cast. Aaron Eckhart as district attorney Harvey Dent was surprisingly well done. I had planned to be bored by him. He put on a fine performance and had me very excited about the fate of Harvey Dent.
But every moment that the Joker was on the screen was absolutely fantastic. Heath Ledger is one of the greatest performers of our time and it is a crime that he is no longer with us. He truly became that clown faced psychopath. If I were to compare him to Nicholson's Joker, I would definitely say that Ledger's was the better. I will be seeing this film again.

Laugh out loud funny

A top tier cast use very well done voices to bring the characters to life. Add to that the fantastic action and hilarious script and you get one of the best movies of the year. The animation and music draw you in even further. Many people will want to purchase the musical score to this film. The giant screen and huge sound of the IMAX make it even more wonderful. I would recommend this movie to anyone. Adults and children will love it. Try not to choke on your snacks or blow your beverage out of your nose.
