I watched this in IMAX 3D however, I did not see any significant difference between the IMAX screen and a normal screen. Normally, IMAX screens have a dome - this IMAX Screen did not... Save your money - just see it in 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I went with a group of my friends (all guys) and we all agreed as we walked out of the theater that it was above expectations! For those of you who never followed the show on HBO - they do a great job at recapping each character to bring everyone up to speed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
