Strange Rendition

Perhaps if I had read some reviews before going, I would have not been as disappointed but other than the very ending, I was very disappointed. While I knew it was some sort of animated production, I did not know it was SciFi. First of all, as a Jim Carrey fan, I was disappointed that I could not tell by anything that he was actually in the movie. Next, I took my family, my brother's family, and my elderly parents to see the film on Christmas Eve thinking this would really put us in the Christmas spirit. The telling of the story was weird/strange to me, so I'm sure my parents were not exactly enthralled.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
