A well thought out sequel to Wall Street (1987). I rented the Wall Street DVD and watched the original again before going to the theater ... I'd highly recommend doing this. There are a number of references back that would be missed which tie the story and characters together. The actors were outstanding and the cinematography excellent. Don't miss it .... but revisit the original first for the best experience.
Good action movie, but lacking in character development. Too much deviatiation from the book - absence and change of several characters was disappointing, e.g. Vetra's co-worker was her father in the book, the Director of Cern didn't appear in the movie. Also, the demise of the Hassassin in the book should have been used in the movie ... much better. However, I didn’t miss Langdon's "parachute escape" from the helicopter before the explosion, as portrayed in the book. The major disappointment was the failure of the movie to develop the relationship that developed between Langdon and Vetra in the book. None the less, it was an exciting action movie, al biet not as good as the DiVinci Code.
