fairly accurate depiction

Contagion gives a fairly accurate depiction of what a worldwide encephalitis pandemic might look like, including the widespread panic, the opportunists looking to make a buck, and the widespread affects, destroying normal life and even the deaths of doctors, nurses and first responders. It may not appeal to some people as it lacks exciting stunts and sex and the plot is at times hard to follow. But the acting is good and the film makes its point well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
