I liked this installment of the HP series. But this did feel like a bridge between the last movie and what we all hope will be an exciting climax. Despite missing some scenes from the book it felt a bit long to me.
But the characters showed that they have grownup and there are some bits of self-referential humor.
Overall solid.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is a fun movie even if you have not seen the stage show. It is hampered by two problems -- one is that some of the singing is very weak. Pierce Brosnan has a very poor voice and that is a shame. The second is poor direction. The director is a first time director I think and it shows. But the obvious fun that the cast is having over shadows these problems.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
