When I watched the DaVinci Code, I had already read the book so I was extremely disappointed, but I really enjoyed watching Angels & Demons (I haven't read the book though). I would compare it to the National Treasure series perhaps a even more entertaining version with twists and turns along the way. It was very entertaining and after the first 15-20 minutes it was nonstop action so it went pretty fast, worth the money spent on it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
