It is a very well done movie. Many of the scenes are hard to watch, particularly with those with issues around drugging and gambling etc. For those who care about animals who are torubled with animal exploitation, you might want to avoid the film as there is a scene that will trouble you.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Sean Penn gave an amazing, sensitive performance of a gay character that really brought him to life. The movie is so important for people to know how hard it was to be out and Gay in past.
