Although this film admittedly takes lots of liberties with the actual facts surrounding the creation and start-up of Facebook, it is an intimate look at both the inception of the world's biggest social networking site and the pitfalls of rocketing to the top too much/too fast. As long as one doesn't mind that the entire story doesn't actually spring from Zukerburg's break-up with a college girlfriend (from what I have read, he's been dating the same girl since before FB was started) it's a fabulous portrayal of a brilliant misfit who is driven beyond the point of obsession. The script and filming were as complex and intense as the subject upon which this movie was based.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A Must See Movie!

One of the BEST movies I've ever experienced. My first impressions: amazement @ the intensity of the graphics & mild annoyance (thought this would be just a tree-hugger film). It was so much more than that. Despite the inevitability of certain plot lines, the story was told in a touching, endearing manner; the main characters believable & well developed. It was so well done that I didn't leave with the feeling I knew the end at the beginning. There was something for everyone in this film: a love story for the romantic, fast paced adventure with graphic violence (don't take young children) for the action fan & enough gadgetry in the animation and overall story to delight the sci-fi fan. If you see one movie this winter, see this one!
