Nice to see something different

I really liked this movie because it was different. The fantasy sequences were incredible. Based on the crowd it this film has a huge late teen following, so the message is perfect for that them at that same time. As a costume designer I could not help but notice the costumes. They rocked! This is a movie you have to see on the big screen then several times on DVD.

I am a huge movie buff, but this movie blew me away. I have always wondered what it must have been like to see what is not a classic, like "The Wizard of Oz" or "West Side Story" on screen when it was first released. I think I finally know! It was a fast moving story, that kept you on the edge of your seat! I LOVED it!

Personally, I am ready to start Team Emmitt!
The movie was GREAT. They did a great job taking the book and putting it on the screen. There were sections of the book that were very slow, but that was handled very very well in the movie. I have already recommended and can't wait for the next installment!!!

I felt this movie was just okay. I was not blown away by it all. The story was interesting and held my attention. Fx were cool.

Great movie! Enjoyed it from start to finish. Excellent casting! All of the characters took just a little bit of the original cast to make it that much more enjoyable!!!

I was not expecting much when I went to see this moving. I figured there would be one or two scenes in 3D with the tacky red and blue paper glasses.
Man was I ever wrong. First off, be sure you get the glasses! I missed that step and had to run out and grab them. The movie was a total thrill ride. Had a blast from start to finish!
