While some details of this film were simply unbelievable (e.g. Indiana's survival in the fridge), overall I thought this was a good movie.
Exiting the theatre, movie-goers could be heard both praising the movie and bashing it. The bashing was quite isolated to a few scenes though, so take that with a grain of salt.
As a fan of the previous installments of Indiana Jones, the plot extended into this new movie well. Lots of action, some witty comedy, and a fast paced plot made for an enjoyable movie. Not the best Indy movie, but worth while.
My wife and I enjoyed taking our daughter and her friend to see Nim's Island. Several times the whole theater broke into laughter and a few more times all the kids made comments out loud. Overall, a very enjoyable family movie.
