Read the book a few years ago, before it became the pop sensation and best seller it is today. Looked forward to seeing Robert Pattinson and Christoph Waltz because of their reputations as a vampire and an Oscar winning Nazi (Twilight and Inglorious Bastards). Not a huge fan of vampires or nazi's, the roles they played previously, but loved those movies as well, and they really knocked it out of the park this time too!! Both were spectacular in their newest roles, as was Reese Witherspoon, as the tortured wife who knew no other life other than that of the circus. This is a heartfelt movie that grabs you from the first scene until the last, with many emotional rollercoasters throughout. Go see it. The visuals were stunning, the acting was amazing, the animals were simply beautiful. The raising of the tent reminded me of the scene in Witness, when the Amish community raised a barn as a community. Would highly recommend this and may read it again and see the movie again, something I never do. Enjoy!

An insult to the masses; save your money!

I was sorely disappointed in this lame attempt at humor and resent wasting our hard earned money on this sort of garbage. Save your money; the jokes fall short of any humor, the acting is terrible, there is no story line and all in all, it was a total bomb. Rent a movie, make some popcorn and don't get lost on this one!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Lot's of energy!

I took my daughter and 6 of her friends and must admit, I loved the movie. I have seen them live in concert and loved them then too!. There was lot's of energy in the room. They are adorable, talented, down to earth and appear to be so well grounded for being so young and so successful. I wish them all good luck. Keep up the great work! Go see it, you won't be disappointed!

I loved the original three, recognizing #2 as being a little dark, as we all know. My expectations were very high considering the cast and director, but I came away feeling a little let down. Didn't really want a "remake" of the originals but wanted more out of #4. Karen Allen was a huge disappointment for me; Kate Blanchett was refreshingly evil! Harrison Ford hit the mark although, he is starting to show his age, but hey, he looked pretty great! Shia L. was a nice addition to the brood. All in all, fun to watch but just not up to par with the original three.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
