Enjoyable Movie

I went expecting to fawn over Meryl Streep as Julia, and to find the Amy Adams character underwhelming and not sympathetic (or so the professional movie reviewers were telling me). Suprisingly, I had the opposite reaction. The Julie character is extremely sympathetic for those of us that have ended up in rather dead-end jobs as "info tech america" has killed careers that involve good writing. My only gripe is that it seemed the Julia character was only covered superficially. I read "My Life In France", and there's so much more that could be covered. Meryl did do a great job, but there was so little of it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
