Kids ok; but I was bored.

My 7 year old son enjoyed it. I was bored. A few laughs throughout the film, but overall just wasn't for me. I also didn't appreciate the "I'm pretty so I can't also be smart" stereotype; the "I can only be smart if I look like a nerd" idea is outdated and wrong.
Wait for the DVD, let your kids watch it while you read something better.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
