After reading the whole book series, i was looking forward seeing the movie. I concluded that the movie is nothing like the book. The director did a poor job w/character and plot development. The movie had such potential, but missed the opporunity do something very special. As a result, this movie is nothing more that a poor man's Harry Potter.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
