Twilight Saga - Eclipse

Loved this next installment of the Twilight series movies and though each film has no way of really delving into the full stories of each character the way the books do, I believe they have captured enough to draw new fans and keep current fans happy.
I thought David Slade did a great job with his directing in this film and he brought a depth to the characters that we all needed to see, the darker and more dangerous side to the Cullens. The side that will fight against any forces to protect the ones they love, that's strong!
I loved Robert's acting in the fight sequence with Victoria and that was one of my favorite scenes of this film.
If you're thinking about seeing Eclipse and are on the fence, I say jump on the side that says "I'm going to see it!" You won't be disappointed!
Now the long wait until the first part of Breaking Dawn comes in Nov. 2011. However will I make it till then...guess I have no choice!

New Moon - Loved It

As a huge fan of the books, I went in with high expectations for the film. I was not disappointed. I totally loved this movie and I think Chris Weitz did a fantastic job directing the movie and all the actors were terrific.
I am a Team Edward person, and I thought Robert Pattinson did an exceptional job again as Edward. He seemed so much more comfortable in Edward's skin...he was in a word - Edward.
Don't listen to the critics. This is a great movie full of adventure, intrigue, mystery, romance, and all the great ingredients that make this love story unique and unforgettable.
I plan to see it several more times this weekend!

Terminator gets Salvation

Bale is strong, unemotional when he needs to be, and very capable as John Connor. Sam Worthington is now one of my favorite actors! Everyone involved did a great job of conveying the desperation and fight to save humanity from the machines. When I heard about this T being done I could not imagine it without its original actor, but survive it does.
I recommend TS to everyone. You’ll be drawn into another world. It’s fast paced, heart stopping action from the get go. There were a few scenes that made me jump. It is more than a story made for the sake of blowing things up and gratuitous violence. It is a story of compassion and hope and how in the face of doom and uncertainty we must not stoop to become what we detest. Five stars.
