The movie was packed with typical Jim Cary type of humor. The story line generally stayed with the traditional showing of A Christmas Carol but I do prefer the original black and white version. The ending when Bob Cratchet speaks to the audience took away from the film.
While the movie is an excellent family movie because of its lack of adverse content, it in no way measures up to the fast paced excitement of the first Night at the Museum. It had an excellent potential for greatness as a sequal but flopped in its effort.
I thought the movie lived up to its trailer. I went to it expecting to laugh at genuine silliness and see the undesireable become the hero and that is exactly what happened. Kevin James was the Kevin James I have come to expect.
