With Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as the stars, we thought this would be a funny, enjoyable movie. It wasn't. The child actors had the funniest lines in the movie. The plot was shallow. It was a big dissapointment.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Excellent Race Horse Movie

My husband and I anticipated a very good movie; and we were not disappointed. The cast was well selected to portray the real-life story. Editors, producers and all involved did an excellent job on the production. Even though we knew the outcome of each race, we found ourselves on the edge of our seats in anticipation of the outcomes! We did not know the family story of Secretariat's owners, so that was very interesting, providing a great lesson in persistently pursuing one's dream.
I saw the movie in 3D with my husband and another adult couple. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! The movie has appeal for a broad age-range. It is fun, entertaining and touching all at the same time.
Streep, Baldwin and Martin play their roles extremely well in this movie. It is full of laughs, yet touching at times. We had an enjoyable experience from beginning to end!
This was a great Valentine's Day movie! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it for the depiction of small-town America (don't cha know?), the love story and the underlying theme of overcoming corporate America. Overall, it was a fell-good flick.
