Okay if you are looking for a "classic" comedy, you're in the wrong theatre. But for what The Hangover was, it was good. The humor is pretty base, and the acting and script are sub-par, but the plot is good and the parts that are supposed to be funny really are pretty funny. I might have preferred to Netflix this one, rather than pay 10 bucks a ticket to see it, but it was not bad at all. I just wish I had not already been told by friends that it was "the funniest movie ever" because my expectations were that I would be laughing till I cried, and that was really not the case.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
