Really wanted to like it...

If you love the franchise, then you'll probably like it. It really felt skimmed over, which I guess with the book being that thick, you need to, but it felt rushed.
I liked the Jasper/Alice moments - brief as they were. The fight training and battle scene were also really rushed. I would have liked to see more of it where as the dialogue between Bella/Edward/Jake felt long at times.
Charile has the best lines in the movie. Love that guy.
Bella's wig was terrible. It really distracted me from the rest of the movie.
I thought the closeup shots were also distracting. You could see the makeup. I might like it better if I watched it on DVD instead of the big screen, maybe?
Overall, it was better than the other two, but could have been so much better with a few changes.
I also wished they used the music a bit better. When I hear songs off the Twilight soundtrack, I'm taken back to the movie right away. This one, I couldn't even tell you what played, and when. It's too bad really.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
