This movie kept me on the edge of my seat with all the action and race scenes so excellently executed in 3D! Great story line, adorable characters, I almost forgot they were all cars and trucks! The kids in the theater were laughing so I assume they were enjoying the visual comedy as much as I was enjoying the spiffy dialogue and fast motion. Great movie that I will be buying to watch at home on my 3D system when it comes out.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is a fun summer movie with lots of action, great special effects, a creepy evil force to fight against, Ryan Reynolds as the reluctant hero. Our whole family had a blast watching the 3D version. We really don't get what people don't like about it !!! Go see it for sure !!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My boyfriend and I are in our mid-50's and have not really watched the Nickelodion series this movie is based on. I have watched a couple of episodes with my grandson and enjoyed them. So we are not die-hard fans like some reviewers who have been so picky. We both thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The story was good and easy to follow with lots of different lands and peoples competing with each other. The special effects of any movie will never impress me the same since I have seen James Cameron's Avatar, but they were as good as most non-blockbuster movies are. Bottom line, if you are not going to pick this to death for not being a true representation of the Airbender series, you will have a fun movie-going experience. Just go for the fun of it.
I took 3 adults (one deaf 40 year old man and the others were women) and 5 children of all different ages from a young Down's Syndrome boy to a 13 year old boy to an 8 year old girl. Even the boys with ADHD sat still through the whole movie. All of us LOVED the movie. It was great graphics as always from Pixar, (although the 3-D from Disney comes nowhere close to the Avatar 3-D.) The story was funny, action-filled, and sad and wonderful. The characters were clever and fully evolved. Even the 13 year old boy had to choke back some tears as we all said goodbye to our toy friends. Don't miss this one and take the whole family including all the adults and all the kids and a box of tissues for the tears.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie has it all, from the story to the special effects. I can't imagine anyone not getting totally absorbed in this movie and the people that inhabit it. Go Go Go Go Go !!!
I talked my 12 year old grandson into coming to see this with me. Really had planned it for the 6 year old grandson but he backed out at the last minute. WOW am I glad we went !!!!!! This is one of the best Pixar movies of all time!!! Unbelievable 3D effects in the theater we went to, Funny story, bring some Kleenex if you are an adult because there are some really sweet sad moments. Go Go Go Go as fast as you can to see this movie no matter what age you are !!!!!!!!!!!
I love the Smithsonian Museum and have been a member for about 20 years. So I was excited to take my 12 year old grandson to see the movie. We were both pretty bored. It has some interesting historical information and historical figures who come to life, and some fun Smithsonian's exhibit items, but after that there was very little to the movie. Probably if you like to take your kids to see educational movies like watching Discovery Kids you will like it. Pleasant and fun but lightweight.
