I have to say that I was a little skeptical of Tyler Perry playing Alex Cross since I had such a vision of him in my head from reading the books and seeing past Cross based films, but I think he did a great job. Matthew Fox was amazing, he really played the role well down to his twitches and I can't believe how much weight he lost for the role. Movie was slow at times but not bad, fast parts made up for lulls. Overall good movie to see in theaters rather than wait for DVD.
