Unlike the other movie-goers... my son & I gave this one an awesome 4 thumbs up. (Movie-goers) If you have followed the Terminator movies over the years you should have known what was happening. However, I will stop there and say Action, Sci-Fi and great CG, is my thing and the movie did not let us down. I recommend highly to all my friends.
I, nor my son, have read the book, so I cant really compare. The movie started a little slow, but, gained speed fast. Storyline was not disappointing, and the Italian city scenes were excellent.... makes me want to travel now...lol
Anyway, back to the movie. My son is 14 and enjoyed the flick immensely. I would recommend it highly.
This movie was much more than I expected in a Trekky movie... excellent story line, awesome special effects and the "surprise appearance" was great! I was on the edge of seat during the entire movie. They broke the Star Trek mold with this one. Excellent! You do not need to have a background of previous Star Trek films to enjoy this one.
This was a great way to start May off.... It was a really great film with a great story line, and an unexpected twist. It is not an XMEN sequel...as we normally expect, but a great continuation on a great storyline. The critics version was lame. Those guys need to be replaced. 87 million is not a bad starting weekend. Kudos to Hugh Jackman and his crew.
Heard the movie was so...so. Well, that guy was on drugs, I laughed all the way through the movie. I think the entire threater did. Eastwood's and Toads portrayal were awesome... the story line was fantastic, and the lessons were priceless. Clint put another notch in your movie gun grip. I was not disappointed at all, it was everything I expected and more. The audience thought so too, they clapped excitedly at the end.
If you are a buff for WWII movies and the like, the movie was very well done. I brought 5 teenagers with me to see it and they were all very into the picture. It was a nice twist on a gloomy time in history. I would recommend it highly.
This is one of the best action/suspense flicks we have weacthced in a while. I will definitely purchase it on DVD when available. Excellent story line that gets you hooked from the start.
The movie has a lot of good action scenes, however, the only thing that held the movie together was Vin Diesel. Thats it. The story line was lacking and the ending left you hanging.... not wanting more except to leave the theater. Sorry Matt, this one needed more plot.
The movie takes to screen what I remember as a young man with the comic book series. The actors palyed their roles to the "T". With the little Charactor/Actor "surprises" - the movie kept my son and I on the edge of the seat. Much better than the first Hulk movie and I am defintely waiting to see the continuation.... Marvel & Hollywood do it once more.... The only down side on special effects was the rain scene... however, looking at Liv Tyler makes up for that... :>) Overall the movie is a "must see".
Movie was excellent. Great 1957 cars, etc... I know this shows my age. Story was a little draggy, but, overall with the special effects... I thought I was into "Encounters of the Third Kind "....Reader, does this give you an idea of the twist of events....????? Regardless, the movie kept me on the edge og my seat, epecailly at the end... Spielburg, lets get going on the next one... LOL
