A Waste of Spectacular Technology

The technology in Avatar 3D is spectacular, but the film, itself, totally lacks imagination. The film is nothing but a remake of every good guy / bad guy film made in the past 100 years, with every cliched special-effects explosion worked into the mix. The only reason I'd recommend this film is for the 3D technology and visual effects; otherwise, it's a bust.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
