Refreshing! NOT CGI!

It is refreshing to see a movie that's actually about the acting and NOT all the special effects of CGI. Helen Mirren and Jessica Chastain are excellent. Kudos to all the actors across the board.

Great Special Effects, Lousy Movie

If you are looking for "Independence Day" theater, then go see this movie, otherwise not worth expending the cash. I would give 5 stars to the special effects, OUTSTANDING! Top name actors, but poor script and poor directing. Let's be sure we get all the ONE LINERS in there for LAUGH effect, we entangle the main door on one of the ARKS so the main character (writer, Limo Driver) can save the day, and the GREEDY Russian BILLIONAIRE dies without ever boarding the Ark! I expected a more serious movie going in, but went out very disappointed!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Clint Eastwood is GENIUS!

Clint Eastwood has done it again! This man is pure genius when it comes to movies. Gran Torino really tells the story of how the younger generation is missing out on the the wisdom of the older generation. Also, how love can shine thru in difficult situations, even across racial lines. This movie should be up for multiple Oscars.

Enjoyed the movie very much. Shows the more intense side of a new sports star struggling on a day to day basis with ICON status.
