The movie provides but a glimpse of what "This is It" was going to be on tour, and it was going to be Awesome! You truly see his perfectionism and feelings for the music and his cast, and especially the performance he needed to provide for his fans. He may have been a little thin, but he had his energy and drive to deliver the commanding performances we all came to expect from him in Billie Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, Thriller etc, etc... He will be missed. It's so very sad that none of us will ever get to see what MJ's vision for his final tour was to be, but this movie gives you a peek. MJ is in a much better place now and may God Bless him, his family and friends.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
