It's INDY... you gotta see it!

I'm usually fairly critical of movies. They're just too bleepin' EXPENSIVE to go see on a whim nowadays. If a movie is sub-par, I feel cheated out of some hard-earned dosh. That said, I went into this movie expecting nothing but a reunion with some old friends. And that's pretty much what I got. It was formulaic, adventurous and completely cringe-inducing in some moments. But if you grew up loving Indiana Jones as I did, the moment you see the silhouette of Ford in the Hat, well.... you can't help but feel nostalgic and grateful that Spielberg and crew got together for one more hurrah. It won't be on the big screen forever and this is likely the last Indy movie. Despite the less-than-stellar script, you'll end up being disappointed if you don't suck it up and go see our man on the big screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
