I enjoyed this odd movie. all i want when i go to the movies is be entertained and that i was for the most part. there was only one time when i thought that i was bored and that has happened in many, many other movies. the cast is wonderful, but the story is quite episodic and rambling. there were a few sort of obvious slapstick jokes and then quite a few subtle moments of intelligent humor. it reminded me of a Don Quixote series of adventures set in Iraq except i'm not sure there was a definite quest.
this film is not for your average movie goer. should have been a limited art house release.

got a headache

a couple of scenes were too long and boring. they were like family movies of a whole wedding weekend. fine if you know the players. otherwise, who cares?
i actually liked the end better than the beginning. the music was too much, too soon and got on my nerves. I did like the music at the actual party, 'tho again, too much. hathaway was amazing, as was winger.
