What a Fabulous Movie

There is a reason that this movie is scoring perfects from the reviewers and critics, it is ideal. Forget that it is brilliantly animated, and filled with vibrant colors and images, because honestly that is all icing. The heart of this movie is the story and how wonderfully it is told. I experienced the entire range of emotions along with Carl. When he felt love I felt it, when he felt loss and alienation, so did I. That is not easy to achieve and to bundle it with so many laughs is also a treat. I recommend this for everyone but especially adults. Do not be deterred by the animation or the colors, it is wonderful. And you'll love the dogs!

Really pleasantly surprised

This could have gone either way and I went into the theater with mediocre expectations. I have to say I thought this was a brilliant movie! After the initial cheesy 15 minutes of set up it really took off and I loved the casting, I loved each actors take on the characters. The story was perfect, not just your typical prequel, we know what happens, yada yada yada. I highly recomend this movie to everyone. Fan or not.
