I loved this film. It depicts a friendship and storyline leaving the racial aspects unspoken but clear. The script was great, the actors were even greater and it was just a great experience. It was no surprise that Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard were great. Cole got his chance to shine, Sanaa was outstanding; Robin was fierce in her role; Tarajii brought it home; Rockmond really pulled it off wonderfully and what can I say about Tyler? He was perfect. What a wonderful story. I sincerely hope and trust that this film will win some of the industry's most prestigious awards. That means Oscar and the rest! Great job Tyler and cast!
