The Dark Knight

I can't believe they did it!
I can't believe they made a movie this exciting without compromising the story or acting. (Take notes "Transformers")
I can't believe they got us to care equally about everyone in the love triangle and got the point across without making us say "OK we get it, now back to the action" (Take notes "Spiderman 3")
I can't believe Heath Ledger's performance lived up to all the hype I'd been hearing. The praise he's getting is not in the spirit of "a dead artists work is always worth more"- No, this guy was perfectly sick & with his ticks and his lip-smacking. He made me go Ewww! but I couldn't stop giggling at his charisma with the role and yet at the same time he left me shaking and happy he was playing fictional character.
I can't believe that I couldn't find one thing they could have done better. After we saw the movie my husband asked me what i thought, I said, "It was the best action movie I'd ever seen". He thought I was being sarcastic, because I love to nit-pick a movie. Somehow Hollywood can't avoid getting ridiculous with a big budget. But it was utterly flawless.
