a little too slick...

was it good? sure.
did it feel like an homage movie like the rest of the indian jones movies? no
when you go from movies where they shot mannequins underwater and jello melting to achieve the special effects to all slick computer it looses some of it's warmth, but that is a problem that george lucas always had.
maybe they should've remember what spielberg said about the original one and stuck to it "I made it as a B-movie... I didn't see the film as anything more than a better made version of the Republic serials."
also i hated the prairie dogs. really? we needed that aww cute moment?
No, I do not recommend this movie.
