It appeared to be just another vehicle for Angie to look amazing in fabulous clothes in a gorgeous location. Visually it was appealing and I don't mind Angie looking great but it wasn't enough to make up for a slowly played near nothing plot which failed to use Johnny Depp for anything other than an after thought. Slow, uninteresting plot. Nice visuals.
Decent plot and acting, great set design. The character development was very good. You understood the characters but they didn't make you care about them so when it was action time it was more interesting rather than being on the edge of your seat. Missed the mark on that point. The plot was not predictable, so I wasn't able to guess the ending, which was nice. Acting was good overall, and the set design was spectacular. They completely recreated period London! Clearly left it open for a second film. Like I said, good entertainment.
