Honors the book well...

I believe the movie did a good job of catching the essence of the book. It had its moments where things seemed to be going fast, and if someone has not read the books they might be lost. There were some cheesy scenes but you are able to over look it in the end. I had extremely low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised at the acting between most of the characters. Robert and Kristen's chemistry really pulled the audience in. Although we know it’s a fantasy, you really think this is happening to her just by the atmosphere that the director creates. I really loved the prom ending; it definitely sets it up for what’s to come! I think fans with an open mind will enjoy it more than those who have never read the books.

In my opinion not the best Apatow movie but still delivers great laughs.
