What a disappointment

I purchased my tickets early thinking this was going to be an edge of the seat, action packed movie. What a disappointment. Way too many extended scenes of Jolie walking. Who cares. Way too many close ups of Jolie doing nothing - just stare looks. I'll give her this - she is beautiful - but join a pageant if you want to exploit your beauty. I go to the movies to be entertained. Depp (one of my heros) - sorely disappointed in his role. This was a movie that had all the attributes of being something spectacular, in the right place with the right actors and it couldn't even fizzle out. It never smoked. (And neither did Depp - till the end).
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Deja Vu of Matrix Reloaded

This brings back the bad feelings I had when I left the theatre after watching the Matrix Reloaded movie - The second in the series of three. This Eclipse movie parallels the matrix in the fact that there is lots of action and special effects, but nothing of sustainance other than they knocked off Victoria. Big deal! They could have done that in the first 1/2 hour. Edward asked Bella to marry him again and again. Nothing new here. There is a love triangle between the couple and Jacob - big surprise. And they have not consummated their relationship or changed her to the cold side. What a rip off. No new developments! Oh yeah, I forgot, the Volutri are still coming after her if they don't change her. Whoop dee do. I am mad I spent the money. I should have justed waited for the fourth in the series.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
