Apocalypse with hope and action!

I was impressed that Book of Eli had a constant stream of action and still contained a well laid-out and delivered plot. This is not just a shoot-'em-up and you do have to pay attention all the way through if you want to understand what is happening with all of the elements. Though set in the standard gloom-and-doom aftermath, there is a lot of hope to be seen in the survivors and their restructuring. Even though the movie is complete in itself, do not be surprised to see a sequel announced soon as the writers left the ending begging viewers to know what happens next!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
