Wonderful family movie

I loved this movie!! It was funny and entertaining. My 5 year old niece laughed throughout the movie. She was scared of the dragon scene. My 8 year old nephew loved the movie. James did a fine job. I loved Amy. The chipmunk was so funny and made a great character within the movie. Timothy was funny and did a great job acting to nothing but a CGI chipmunk. This was a nice movie to take the family to.

Worst movie ever

Will Smith could not save this movie or the infected people. The visual effects were very nice. It was eery to see New York empty. I did not like the scene where he kills his dog. The ending was stupid. He wasn't trapped, he could of used the aircaft carrier to leave instead of playing golf on it. The creatures were so fake looking and the creature effects were cheesy. It was not worth the money. I almost walked out, have no idea why I didn't. I should have sneaked into another theater to watch a better movie for my money.

Unbelievable

I was so disappointed with this movie. I went in wanting to be scared and it didn't deliver. It was cheesy. There was so much inaccuracy with the computers and the torture. It is not that easy to break into a goverenment computer system. It was like they had no firewall or protection. The ending was lame. There was no real plot or storyline. They just did whatever they wanted. It is like the actors arrived and did not have a script to follow. What a waste of money. Don't bother buying this one. I'm not even sure it is worth it to rent.

Disaster

What a let down. What was the story? I could barely follow the movie. I had no clue about what was going on. The effects were cheesy. The changing animals/spirits were annoying. Why was the polar bear fighting the other polar bears? What purpose did it have? I can't believe I spent $9.50 on this movie. What a waste of money!!!!!! I was so upset because I had no idea this wasn't a complete movie. It didn't end. I did not know it was a kind of trilogy. I never read the books. There was no mention of this in the trailer or ads. It really got me peaved. Don't waste your money. I wouldn't even bother to rent it.

Monster movie

Freddie Highmore does an okay job playing twins. I don't think this is his best work. The movie was fun to watch. It had a lot of violence that I did not expect. The story was good. I have never read the books so I don't know how it compares. But, I never like to compare books that are adapted to movies because it is a totally different medium. I think this movie would be too scary for kids under 10. I will not be letting my 8 year old nephew or 5 year old niece to see this movie. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to adults. I think adults would enjoy this movie even though it seems to be geared towards kids.

Not so much a thriller

This movie really didn't have any kind of plot or storyline but that was not why I went to see it. I wanted to be scared. There were plenty of freaky and scary parts that had me jumping in my seat. Too bad there were only a few of them and the rest was just plain waiting to see what happens next. I did like the movie. I did enjoy myself. If you want a good scare and don't care about plots then go see this movie. If you like gore then go see this movie. I went early so it was worth the $5 I spent. I wouldn't pay more then that to see it. Overall a cool movie.

Exciting adventure

Nicolas Cage did a great job with this sequel. I liked it more then the first movie. It is exciting and keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are a few slow spots. It is a little hard to swallow how easy it was for him to kidnap the President. Helen does yet another great job. The movie is funny, great fun and a great adventure. This is a must see movie.

Total disaster

I went to this movie excited because the trailer looked awesome. What a HUGE disappointment!!!!! There is no plot or storyline. They seem to just make things up as they go along with no reason. It gets annoying after awhile when they jump a few feet inside a house/apartment. It just is stupid. Hayden couldn't save this movie. It was DOA from the start of the initial script. What a waste of my money. I wouldn't spend 50 cents to see this movie let alone $7.50!!!!!!! Don't waste your money on this one.

Funny and Heartwarming

A superb movie. The Rock is great in this movie. Who would have thought he would be such a great actor. Kyra didn''t quite pull off the nasty agent. She should stick to doing Closer. This is a sweet and clean movie. You will be glued to the screen. A great movie for the kids. My 8 year old nephew loves this movie. My 5 year old niece just adores this movie and laughs a lot all through the movie. She really loves the dog!!!

Great family movie

What a blast!!!! I really loved this movie. It is a good, clean and fun movie for the whole family. My 5 year old niece and 8 year old nephew loved this movie also. For the first time, my niece didn't fidget during a movie and that says a lot!!!!! The movie has a great plot and storyline that is easy to follow. It is fun for kids of all ages and adults will love this movie as well. They stayed true to Dr. Suess and kept it true. Wonferful fun.
